ROCKLAND  – January 18, 2012 – The new Clarence-Rockland Chamber of commerce officially held its official opening at its office space of the Arena, Event and Training Centre.  Approximately a hundred members and future members participated in the event. In the photo: Mr. Pierre Lemieux, Member of Parliament, Mr. Marcel Guibord, Mayor, Mr. Mathieu Dallaire, Interim Vice-President of the new Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Grant Crack, Member of Provincial Parliament and Mr. Denis Thibault, CEO of the Eastern Ontario Training Board.

BOURGET  – January 16, 2012 – On December 14^th, Miss Marthe Boileau of Bourget received the Ontario Senior’s Achievement Award during a ceremony held in Toronto. The City of Clarence-Rockland also wanted to honor this great lady during the first Committee of the Whole meeting, held in Bourget on January 9^th. In the photo, Mr. Marcel Guibord, Mayor, and Mrs. Diane Choinière, Ward 8 Councilor, present a certificate of congratulations to Miss Boileau.
