Rockland - The City of Clarence-Rockland's Fire Department recently presented a $ 17,440 donation to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, the sum of their annual Boot Drive. At the provincial level, $1,155,000 was presented to the organization. The City of Clarence-Rockland's Fire Department has been participating to this activity since 1971, when $80 was raised within the three fire stations. The City of Clarence-Rockland Municipal Council congratulates its volunteer firefighters for their dedication.

CLARENCE CREEK - For Ontario Coaches Week, the City of Clarence-Rockland recognized the work of Mr. Jean-Charles "Charlie" Lavictoire, who dedicated more than 35 years at different positions in junior hockey in the area.
