PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION



The City of Clarence-Rockland offers public transportation services in both Clarence Creek/Rockland, Route # 530, and Bourget, Route # 535.

This service is only offered to the residents of the City of Clarence-Rockland.

We offer thirteen (13) trips on Route # 530 from Clarence Creek/Rockland to Ottawa/Gatineau and three (3) trips from Bourget to Ottawa/Gatineau on Route # 535.

For additional information, please do not hesitate to call City Hall at 613-446-6022, extension 2247 from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

NOTICE - increase rates

In addition to the monthly pass, you must obtain an OC Transpo photo identification card which costs $7.75. This is a one time charge. The photo I.D. card must always be identified as an "Adult" I.D. card.  OC Transpo will not accept a "Student" photo I.D. card with our monthly pass.

You may have your photo taken at:

  • St. Laurent Station
  • Place d'Orléans Station
  • Lincoln Field Station
  • Rideau Centre

One-way daily pass = $8.00     (Does not include transfer with OC Transpo)

Regular monthly pass = $175.00
 
Student monthly pass = $125.00  (Student must show a student card with photo I.D. from attending school for the purchase of a monthly pass)
 

Places of sales

Monthly passes are available in:

Rockland at:

  • City Hall  
  • Jean Coutu Pharmacy
  • Shoppers Drug Mart

Bourget at:

  • Bourget Pharmacy
  • Sears

Hammond at:

  • Mike's Place

Daily passes are available only on the buses.  The driver will accept only the exact change.

Park and Ride

You have access to the following parking sites:

  • Clarence Creek Arena
  • East of Lamoureux Home Hardware
  • Rockland City Hall
  • Intersection of Caron and St-Paul
  • There are also parking spaces available at the Jean Marc Lalonde arena and at the St-Trinity Church.
  • Community Center in Bourget
  • Community Center Alphonse Carrière in Hammond

Please note that the schedule is effective Monday through Friday. However, your bus passes can be used every day in the sector serviced by OC Transpo.

NOTICE - TO USERS OF THE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE COMMUTER BUS

Since February 13th, 2006, we have acquired a wheelchair accessible commuter bus so we may offer better public transportation services. There is three (3) buses that will be available for Trips 1, 2, 4, 9, 11 and 12 in the morning and Trips 1, 2, 4, 9, 10 and 11 in the afternoon between Clarence Creek/Rockland and Ottawa. There is one bus that will be available for the first Trip in the morning and the first Trip in the afternoon between Bourget and Ottawa. For a complete schedule, you may visit our web site « Public Transit » Routes and Schedule Hours for the Bourget bus schedule.

If you have an invisible disability that makes it difficult for you to stand in a moving transit vehicle, you can obtain a priority Seating ID Card.

The Priority Seating ID Card is $7.00 and it identifies you as being eligible for priority seating.
