Community ServicesSchools Our community is host to a dozen schools representing four different school boards. This provides residents with a wide range of choices for their children's education.

Post-secondary education Clarence-Rockland is located at 30 minutes or less from four universities and three colleges. Universities Colleges Our licensed daycare services are offered for children starting at 18 months to 12 years old, full-time. Our centers aim to develop the physical, social, emotional and intellectual aspects of each child. Programs are adapted to the various age groups and to the children's interest. We offer activities that develop creativity, imagination and communication. Please note that the Clarence-Rockland day cares are bilingual. An important network of public transportation provides easy access to other municipalities including the cities of Ottawa and Gatineau. We offer 1 trips from Clarence Creek/Rockland to Ottawa/Gatineau and 3 trips from Bourget/Hammond to Ottawa/Gatineau. We have a large number of Park & Ride sites available to users for short term and long term parking. Our collection includes books, audio books, videocassettes, DVDs, educational CD-ROMS, magazines and newspapers. We offer interlibrary loans for documents that are not available in our collection. The Clarence-Rockland Seniors' coalitions, as well as the various seniors' clubs organize a large number of activities and outings including our annual Seniors' Games. Senior support services are also available in the area. Various programs including community diners, foot clinics, friendly visits (Tele-chat), household upkeep, meals on wheels, reassurance/security checks and transportation. Seniors residence We have many residences for retired seniors located in residential areas which are in proximity of all major commodities.
Center for seniors and long term care We have two residences for seniors with special needs and for those who require long term care.
Clarence-Rockland is home to various religious groups and establishments. These include one English Catholic Church, one English Anti-Costal Church, one English United Church as well as five French Catholic Churches. Clarence-Rockland Parishes
