Notice of Nomination

Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the City of Clarence-Rockland, that nominations for the following offices in the Municipal Elections to be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 may be filed with the Clerk.

MAYOR (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 1 - west of Rockland (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 2 - north of Laurier, Rockland (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 3 - centre of Rockland (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 4 - east of Rockland (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 5 - Clarence Creek and Forest Hill (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 6 - Clarence east and St-Pascal (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 7 - Hammond & Cheney (one to be elected)
Councillor - Ward 8 - Bourget (one to be elected)

TRUSTEE - French Catholic School Board - Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l'Est ontarien (one to be elected)

TRUSTEE - English Catholic School Board - Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (one to be elected for the combined areas of Prescott-Russell County)  Nominations for this Board must be made on the required form and filed with the Clerk of the Township of Russell.

TRUSTEE - English Public School Board - Upper Canada District School Board (one to be elected for the combined areas of Alfred & Plantagenet, Casselman, Champlain, Clarence-Rockland, East Hawkesbury, Hawkesbury, Russell and Nation).

TRUSTEE - French Public School Board - Le conseil des écoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario (one to be elected from the combined areas of Clarence-Rockland, Casselman, Nation and Russell).

Nominations may be filed during the regular office hours, until September 9, 2010 and on Nomination Day, September 10, 2010 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Nominations shall be made in the prescribed form accompanied by the appropriate filing fee ($200 for the nomination of Mayor, or $100 for the nomination of all other offices).
